I'm KaLeah. I don't have any nicknames or anything, just my name. I live in Houston, where the music is slow and the time passes even slower. Everyday, I go to the same school, North Shore High, and do the same things, work, and every afternoon I come home and do more work. Though that sounds rather boring, I do seem to stay awake. Part of the reason why is because I watch Music videos. Lots of videos. All kinds of videos. Far East to country to hip-hop to heavy metal. My ultimate goal is to direct music videos. Like Hype Williams, but without all that color, and as smartly done as spike jonze. I don't care what anyone says, country videos are the best. They're full of storylines. Hip-Hop is my favorite, but the videos are so conceptualized. I'm African-American and female. Been so for the last 17 years. I take a lot of pride in those two things. I see a lot of girls at my school who don't realize what an important role African-American women play in the growth of our communities. We will grow to be the strong mothers and wives. We will grow to be the backbone of our community. Some of us anyway. I've run out of ways to say that to them. If you have any ideas, let me know. | ||||||||||||||||

And now allow me to introduce my best friend in the world, Malaki. He's a real cool guy. I think that he's the nicest, funniest, most caring and interesting person I know. I can tell him anything. I'm blessed to have a friend like that and I couldn't pass up the oppurtunity to say so in front of the world. That's my boy for life, no matter what may transpire.
